You can see a standardised list of prices for funeral services below. Please get in touch to discuss any specific religious, belief-based and/or cultural requirements or any other requirements with the funeral director or our caring team.
Attended Funeral Funeral Director Charges Only – £770.00
This is a funeral where family and friends have a ceremony, event, or service for the deceased person at the same time as they attend their burial or cremation. We charge £770 to take care of all necessary legal and administrative arrangements, including:
- Collecting and Transporting the Deceased Person from Place of Death to Funeral Director – £225 Out of Hours
- Please note that the place of death is normally within 15 miles of the funeral director’s premises.
- Care of the Deceased Person in Appropriate Facilities – £500
- The deceased person will be kept at the funeral director’s premises until the funeral.
Other Charges
- Providing a Suitable Coffin (Light Oak) – £595
- Viewings of the Deceased Person for Family and Friends, by appointment with the Funeral Director or Where Viewing Is Requested by the Client – NO CHARGE
- Transporting the Deceased Person to Cemetery/Crematorium/Funeral Venue via Hearse or Limousine – £230
- At the agreed date and time, the funeral director will take the deceased person directly to the agreed location, normally within 20 miles of the premises. Our immaculate fleet of vehicles will convey your loved one with style and dignity on their final journey.
Unattended Funeral
This is a funeral where family and friends may choose to have a ceremony, event, or service for the deceased person, but they do not attend the burial or cremation itself. Please note that prices do not include disbursements, preservation treatment, bearers, or out-of-hours removal of the deceased.
Burial (Funeral Director’s Charges Only) – £1400
Cremation (Funeral Director’s Charges Only) – £1400
Fees You Must Pay
Please note that prices vary for the following fees and are available on request.
Burial Fee (Attended or Unattended Burial Funerals)
For a new grave, you will also need to pay for the plot.
For an existing grave with a memorial in place, you may need to pay a removal/replacement fee.
Cemeteries may also charge other fees.
Cremation Fee (Attended Cremation Funerals)
Additional Funeral Director Products and Services
If required, the funeral director may be able to supply a range of optional, additional products and services, or to arrange (on your behalf) for a third party to supply them. Examples include:
Additional Transfers of the Deceased Person (e.g., Home, a Place of Worship, etc.) and Associated Third-Party Costs – PRICE ON REQUEST
Embalming – £125
Funeral Officiant (e.g. Celebrant, Minister of Religion, etc.) – PRICE ON REQUEST
Out-of-Hours Chapel Visits – NO CHARGE
